Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico with a family that loved music. Growing up she was influenced by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form drama. Her mother teaches her how to sing. However, she began more intensive singing lessons through Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera singer and tenor. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. When she moved into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present home in the southern part of California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. As an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for music and art keeps her active in a variety of initiatives. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates the opportunity to share her passion and enthusiasm for the traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to impart a desire particularly among the younger generation in order to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
