Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston put Angelica Hale on ECMO care for life-saving treatment. Her condition became severe and she suffered organ failure including kidneys that did not recover. It was then a routine of hemodialysis followed by peritoneal dilution. She finally returned home after eighteen days in hospital, at a point when she was in danger of dying to the lengthy road to healthy. Life was forever changed. Angelica's life was forever changed after she underwent dialysis for kidneys. Her mother was the one who was the one to donate her kidney.
