Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream is influenced by his international popularity. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in the year 2017. He released ADN the first of his long-players in the name of La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was A Top Five hit for Ozuna and him in the following year. In 2020, he dropped his second album charting Dopamina and collaborated on Mala Influencia alongside Noriel. In 2021, he performed in a duo performance with TINI on her cult stream single Maldita Foto. 2000 saw him perform the hit song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was born into the musical home of his family. Both his older brother and mother are both musicians. In interviews he's talked about playing music as an obligation. He was taught how to play the saxophone, guitar the ukulele, and keyboard when he was an infant. While his initial career choice was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with the help of a Cuban teacher. The end consequence of discovering the talent as a performer changed the trajectory of his life.
